News This Week
posted by Jonny at 5:54 pm /

Well it seems like the world is not as interesting as I would have hoped, and there really isn't anything sexist or politically incorrect for me to comment/agree/shock with. This is both good news and bad news. The bad news is that this means that I will have a hard time finding anything where I can write something shocking or even witty(!), the good news is however, that the most interesting news of the week is that there has been major scandals on this blog, including me I must admit. (let me just clarify that I am not a Vampire, although I do frequent one occasionally (even though she's been ditching me recently hint hint) oh yeah gotta close another bracket).

So anyways, news this week. hmm, well here is whats been happening:

£53 million stolen, a couple million found, a couple people arrested and well we aren't been told anything interesting there. Except that Art was involved in the heist but managed to find enough money to pay the cops to keep him free. Noone yet knows where he did get that money from though. Stupid police...

Glitter boy being a paedophile, with a name like that, who didn't see it coming, lets face it. (no Art, there is no puns in there about cum and faces you perv)

Coca Cola, believe it or not, threatened (seriously) to remove their vending machines network from schools after the education secretary banned junk food from schools. The quote of the week for sure is coca cola claiming schools would suffer from the removal of such "a highly efficient country-wide beverage distribution system". Actually no wait, this must be the quote of the day, Coca-Cola's letter argued that many soft drinks provided "significant nutritional and functional benefits". waha, who you kidding.

A big story this week was also that Breast screening tests could lead to 10% of those checked, getting unnecessary treatment. This was obviously in Sweden, as Swedish researchers looked at over 42,000 women/breasts from 1976 to 1986. Thats just what happens when you leave Swedish people to build these machines. The women are so hot that they gotta build machines that make them come back again and again.

Well i'm tired of reading the news. I think i'll just stick to the Metro, much more entertaining. Or maybe i'll just make up some news. Or maybe I have already, oooh wouldn't you like to know... no? yeah didn't think so, was worth a try. Hey i'm really bored today, maybe I should've gone to lectures, you wouldn't have had to get bored reading what i'm writing... wait a minute, it's a choice, if you got all the way down here it means you're bored too! congratulations!
